Terms of Service.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Typezz mobile app and related services (the “Service”) operated by Typezz (Mian Akbar Jan, “Typezz,” “we,” or “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EEA/UK) to use the Service. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for any activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

2. The Service

Typezz lets you capture text or voice input and automatically classify it into categories, with optional sync to your device's calendar and reminders. Specific features, limits, and availability may change over time as the Service evolves.

3. Free and Pro plans

The Free plan includes up to 15 AI classifications per day. Pro unlocks unlimited classifications, calendar and reminders sync, smart daily briefs, and priority support.

4. Subscriptions and billing

  • Pro subscriptions are sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Your payment is processed by the store, subject to the store's terms.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal.
  • You can cancel anytime from your App Store or Play Store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Refund requests are handled by the applicable app store.

5. Your content

You retain all rights to the captures and content you submit. By using the Service, you grant Typezz a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your content solely to operate and improve the Service for you. We do not sell your content and we do not use your captures to train third-party AI models.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to violate any law or the rights of others.
  • Upload content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, or malicious (including malware).
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overwhelm the Service, or circumvent any access, rate, or usage limits.
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without written permission.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its code, design, trademarks, and content (other than your content), is owned by Typezz and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or branding.

8. Third-party services

The Service integrates with third-party platforms (e.g., Apple, Google, Firebase, the AI classification provider). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to other users, to Typezz, or to third parties. Sections that by their nature should survive (e.g., ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability) survive termination.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Typezz disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. AI classifications may be inaccurate — do not rely on the Service as a sole system of record for critical information.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Typezz and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $50.

12. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. For material changes to the Terms, we'll give reasonable notice (e.g., via the app or email). Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION], without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You and Typezz agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in [JURISDICTION] for any disputes not subject to arbitration.
